Collision Repair
Collision repairs are wide-ranging, often encompassing multiple systems. While repairs to the area of the collision are expected, we often have to make repairs to your drivetrain, powertrain, electrical systems, and other vital systems. Frame Repair Equipment
For repairs that impact the frame of your vehicle, we use our Computerized Frame Measuring system, which offers precise measurements that documents exact before and after results. We have eight metal and body bays, a Blackhawk Powerpro 360L frame machine, and a Hein-Werner Paex Laser Target Measuring System. Our campus has four paint pays with pressurized paint booths and baking systems to ensure you get the best quality on any paint repairs. Body Repair Process
Step 1: Free Collision Repair Estimate
When you bring your vehicle in, we’ll inspect all its systems to ensure we find all the damage we can without taking it apart. We’ll provide you with a free estimate so you know exactly what to expect from the repair process.
Step 2: Insurance
We’ll give you and your insurance provider our estimate and work with your insurance provider to process your claim. They’ll determine if your vehicle has been totaled and ultimately, what they’ll cover after your repair. Once approved, we’ll begin the repair process.
Step 3: Disassembly
When we disassemble your vehicle to start repairs, we’ll often find damage to systems that we can’t find in our upfront inspection. We’ll often have to let insurance know if we need to make additional repairs and order new parts to complete the repairs.
Step 4: Order Parts
Once we have an idea of what needs to be repaired, we’ll order the necessary parts. We have many common components on hand, but some parts can take time to arrive. Our team can’t start making repairs until all structural parts are delivered.
Step 5: Structure Repair
We’ll get the unitized back to factory specifications when we have everything we need. We use a sophisticated measuring system to monitor each section of the frame. Computers help us analyze the frame and get a perfect result every time.
Step 6: Body Repair
In this step, we repair and replace your exterior panels and any metal finishings. This is where your vehicle starts to look recognizable and come back to life. After your car has been re-paneled, we’ll send it over for a paint job.
Step 7: Paint
Paint is the cherry on top and the key to ensuring your car looks as good as new. We’ll prime your panels for paint and seal the top coat with a clear coat to ensure your car looks like it came right off the lot.
Step 8: Reassembly
After we paint your Ford, we’ll place on the final molding, detail pieces, and exterior trim in the final reassembly phase. We’ll also conduct an inspection of vehicle performance, safety, and repair quality.
Step 9: Detailing
Once we’re happy with our repairs, we’ll clean it up. We will hand wash it and lightly detail the interior to clear out any dust or materials that may have accumulated during the repair process. After we detail it, we’ll give it one more final quality control inspection.
Step 10: Delivery
Once ready, we’ll contact you so you can pick your car up! We’ll review all our work, explain the bill, and finish any remaining paperwork. When you leave our lot in your repaired car, our goal is to ensure you can’t tell where are repairs start and the original parts begin.
